Watch The Moving Moment 400 Students Turned Up to Sing to Teacher Battling Cancer

Since 2008, Ben Ellis has been teaching Latin at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville.

And since last year, he's been battling an aggressive form of cancer.

Last week, after hearing he was having a tough time with his treatment, the staff and students from the school gathered outside their much-loved teacher’s house to show him what he meant to them.

The entire student body – 400+ secondary students – and staff dropped everything and went to Mr Ellis’ house to sing to him.

The moving moment was captured on film and later shared by country music star Tim McGraw on Facebook, where it’s been viewed over 23 million times in three days.
