Watch: James Corden takes Tom for a Cruise in side-splitting skit

Tom Cruise joined host James Corden on his Late Late Show, during which they slipped into military uniforms to take a spin down the River Thames.

The 54-year-old actor was blindfolded by the TV presenter, 38, before they paid homage to Tom's character LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell in 1986 classic Top Gun by rocking the now-iconic white pilot uniform before larking around on the deck.
