Viral video shows shocking moment truck narrowly avoids hitting child in road

A Norwegian child narrowly escaped death after nearly being hit by a truck.

In a terrifying dash-cam video - which was originally shot in June this year but has gone viral - a child is seen exiting a school bus with a group of peers, before running out across the road into oncoming traffic.

Luckily, the driver of the red truck was able to stop in time, but the clip reveals what a close call it was. 

The man who captured the scene told NRK: "I saw what was about to happen, but there was little I could do.

"I saw over the roof of the bus the truck was heading at it at a great speed. I blinked my lights and horn to alert the traffic and young people."
