School Choir Surprises Their Teacher Battling Breast Cancer

Mrs. Adriana Lopez is one of the teachers of the infamous PS22 children's choir. They normally brighten other people's lives but this time... it was time to brighten their teacher's.

Mrs Lopez was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so the choir dedicated Martina McBride's Grammy-nominated cancer survivor anthem "I'm Gonna Love You Through It."

"When you feel lost and scared to death, like you can’t take one more step, just take my hand, together we can do it — I’m gonna love you through it," the 5th-graders sang while waving pink flowers at the end.
