New Zealand dance crew The Bradas wow with Māori-inspired routine on US dance show

Auckland dance crew The Bradas left Ne-Yo, Derek Hough AND Jennifer Lopez speechless after a breathtaking performance on the US television show, World of Dance.

Rocking white and black suits with red shoes, the six-man hip-hop crew won a dance-off with their incredible routine which featured Māori-inspired moves - including a pūkana.

Lopez raved about the complexity of the performance, saying: "This was a perfect balance of those insane moments where everyone is at the edge of their seat. I still can't get over catching the handkerchief in the mid-flip."

"You are some of the best athletes and LeBron James couldn't do what you do."

"It was amazing, great job guys."

Co-judge Derek Hough added: "So many things could have gone wrong with all the different props, the handkerchief out the sleeve. You had so many tricks up your sleeve. Ah, it was so good. I love the burn, a little tap moment in there."

The Bradas are now into the next round of the competition, after beating tap dance crew The Jam Project.

In 2015, The Bradas won first place in the adult section of the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in the United States.

The crew also won the World Hip Hop Champs again in 2016, making them back-to-back champions.
