Murderous new TV show 'Why Women Kill' is set to be your next streaming obsession

We may have just found our new favourite TV show!

The hit show Why Women Kill is perfect for fans of true-crime, dark-comedy and drama fans alike!

Starring Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste, this dark comedy details the lives of three women living in the same house, spanning three paralleling timelines – 1963, 1984 and 2019 – each of them dealing with infidelity in their marriage.

In 1963, Beth Ann’s (Goodwin) life as a doting housewife is upended when she learns of her husband Rob’s (Parenthood’s Sam Jaeger) infidelity.

1984 sees socialite Simone (Liu) is blindsided by her husband Karl’s (Jack Davenport, Smash) devastating secret.

And when we head to present day, high-powdered lawyer Taylor (Howell-Baptiste) has an open marriage with husband Eli (Scott Red, Veep) but he’s not following the rules of their open relationship.

While the series isn't based on real events, the series does fulfil all of our interest in crime docos, and we've heard it’s addictive.

Plus, the series has just been renewed for a second season, so we shouldn't have to wait too long for another season when we finish the first!

Lucky for us, Why Women Kill is coming to TVNZ OnDemand December 6th, and we can't wait!
