Believe it or not, it has nearly been 21 years since the iconic film Titanic "hit" our cinema screens!
Yes, it's been over two decades since we were introduced to the ever-doomed forbidden lovers, Jack and Rose ... but apparently, the film nearly ended very differently.
And, unfortunately, we're not referring to the scene where Jack froze to death after Rose wouldn't share her floating door with him.
No, the ending to James Cameron's spectacular film could have been much, much worse.
In 2005, Titanic was released on a special edition DVD and apparently that DVD release came with an alternate ending.

As you will no doubt remember, in the movie's original ending, an elderly Rose can be seen creeping out of her cabin aboard a salvage ship, wearing nothing but a nighty.
Away from prying eyes, she drops the rare 'Heart of the Ocean' diamond necklace, which she had on her the night the Titanic hit an iceberg and sunk, into the water below.
In the alternate version, right at the moment where Rose attempts to throw the diamond overboard, she is spotted by the treasure-seeking Brock Lovett (Bill Paxton) and her granddaughter.
The entire crew then try and stop her from throwing the necklace back into the ocean "where it belongs".
To which Rose teaches them a valuable life lesson about "looking for treasure in the wrong place" and how "only life is priceless" so we should "make each day count."
And then she drops the diamond in the ocean anyway.
"That really sucks lady." Yes, it sure does.
