Backstreet Boys prank fans with surprise impromptu elevator singalong - and it is awesome!

Imagine walking into an elevator and seeing none other than the incredible Backstreet Boys waiting inside.

You'd totally get all nostalgic and scream, right?

Well, that's exactly what happened to New Yorkers in an office lift.

During a visit to MTV's TRL this week, the 90s boyband surprised fans with an impromptu singalong to three of their classic hits; 'I Want It That Way,' 'Everybody,' and 'As Long as You Love Me.'

Impressively, they still got all the girls screaming during the once-in-a-lifetime moment, just like in their heyday.

One fan even exclaimed: "We’re never getting off!"

The video has since had over nine million views on Facebook.
