We've all been opening Chupa Chups wrong this whole time!

We've all been there ... in the checkout queue, staring at the stands of sweets, quickly justifying the 60 cents you really want to spend on that Chupa Chup. 

Of course, we cave and end up standing there with your mouth watering, wishing you could have the sweet taste in your mouth immediately. But you get through the checkout, and you STILL can't get that sweet taste in your mouth as quickly as you'd like, because you can't open the tricky thing!

Why the on earth are Chupa Chups so hard to open?!

They received a super cheerful email response from Sam Hansen, the country manager for the company that makes Chupa Chups:

"Yep, we know that Chupa Chups are super hard to open. We've designed them like that," she writes.

"There are actually two layers of wrapper that are twisted together and sealed at the bottom with heat. That way we know they will get to you in the condition they left the factory.

"You can try twisting your Chupa Chups at the bottom of the wrapping to open it - makes it a little easier!

"Embrace the anticipation of getting into your favourite Chupa Chups because you know when you eventually get in, it'll be worth it! Don't give up on moments of fun!"

So, it's a twisting motion from the bottom! Thankfully someone on YouTube has also demonstrated it for us:
