Watch the amazingly cute moment Brie Larson congratulates Emma Stone on her first Oscar

At 28-years old, Emma Stone isn't exactly the youngest winner of an Oscar ever, but she more than deserved it for her role in 'La La Land'. 

While the spotlight at the Academy Awards was on the monumental mistake surrounding Moonlight and La La Land's best picture award, there was a hug that occurred backstage that brought a tear to a lot of eyes around the world.

It was when Brie Larson, the one who managed to take out the same award last year for her role in 'Room', came up to Emma and gave her a big hug that photographers flocked to try and capture the special moment.

This same moment was also caught on video and uploaded to Instagram by 'theacademy'. 

You can see the amazing moment of realisation as Emma looks at her award, then back up to Brie and embraces her in an emotional hug.

Brie wasn't the only star to congratulate Stone on the Oscar though, Adele sent her love through Twitter by posting a pic of her in front of her TV:
