Watch Coldplay and Natalie Imbruglia's surprise 'Summer Nights' tribute to Olivia Newton-John
Celebrities around the world continue to honour the late Olivia Newton-John and now Coldplay and Natalie Imbruglia have shared their own tribute to the beloved star.
The British group surprised fans at their concert earlier this week when they welcomed the Torn singer onto the stage for a heartful performance dedicated to the Australian icon.
On the stage of London's Wembley Stadium, the musicians shared a duet of Summer Nights from the movie that launched Olivia into the spotlight, Grease.
Natalie of course took care of Olivia's part, while, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin sang John Travolta's lines with Jacob Collier joining him during the chorus.
Unsurprisingly, the audience joined in, singing along with the iconic lyrics from the classic duet.
Olivia passed away last week on the morning of Monday 8 August at her ranch in Southern California, where she was surrounded by family and friends.
While a specific cause of death has not yet been revealed, a source close to TMZ reported that "she lost her battle to metastatic breast cancer."
The Physical hitmaker is survived by her husband, John Easterling, who shared the news of her death on her official Instagram account, and her daughter, Chloe.
