McDonald's Removing Ingredients From Some Menu Items

McDonald's announced that the chain is removing artificial preservatives from a bunch of their products, including their nuggets and breakfast items.
Previously, it had been revealed that each McNugget contained 31 ingredients besides chicken, so perhaps this has contributed to their consideration for change.
Another big change that McDonald’s is making is that they’re finally removing the high-fructose corn syrup from their burger buns.
Mike Andres, the President of McDonald’s in the United States, addressed the menu change-ups in a news release.
“More than ever, people care about their food — where it comes from, what goes into it and how it’s prepared,” he said. “We’re making changes to ensure the food we’re proud of is food our customers love and feel good eating, and we remain committed to our continuing food journey at McDonald’s.”
While it sounds like these removals may make their food healthier, they'll still be substituted with other ingredients which may not necessarily be healthier.
Maybe this means we'll no longer be able to preserve our Happy Meals like this guy did...
