It turns out you can now stay in one of the luxurious castles from 'The Crown'
Fans of The Crown, get excited because you can now stay in one of the stunning castles from the Netflix series!
That’s right, the luxurious eleventh century Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire - which was used as a filming location in place of Windsor Castle in The Crown - is available to be booked by some very lucky guests.
For the first time are opening their doors to the public for an extravagant three-night stay in its lavish King’s Suit – which is adorned with opulent, regal interiors from floor to ceiling - on December 31, January 11 and January 25.
Ooh, la la!
Fun fact, as well as setting the stage for The Crown, Belvoir Castle was also heavily used in the movie Young Queen Victoria, starring Emily Blunt.
The royal experience will begin as soon as the guests of the Duchess of Rutland arrive with a delicious afternoon tea, followed by dinner served in the State Dining Room. Later in the evening, guests will enjoy a drinks reception in The Library, as seen in The Crown.
"The King’s Suite is a truly unique space with a fascinating history, so I am very excited to share it with guests for the first time on Airbnb," The Duchess of Rutland says about the castle’s room.
"One couple in particular over New Year’s Eve will get to ring in the new decade in truly unforgettable style. Whether you’re drawn to the incredible Regency architecture, want to experience the lavish royal lifestyle or simply follow in the footsteps of your favourite stars, a stay at Belvoir is sure to provide a memorable experience”.
The special stay is available for two guests and will set you back $516 a night through Airbnb.
Sounds (and looks) absolutely amazing!
