Gwyneth Paltrow shares stunning nude 'birthday suit' snap to celebrate turning 48

Gwyneth Paltrow has stripped down to her birthday suit to celebrate her 48th birthday.

The star took to Instagram to share the nude snap, writing alongside it: "In nothing but my birthday suit today... thank you all so much for the birthday wishes."

She also gave a shout out to her wellbeing company Goop, adding: "and thank you to Goop's insanely amazing brand new body butter for making me think I can still get my kit off."

While most of her famous friends were quick to praise the star for her toned figure, hilariously Gwyneth’s 16-year-old daughter Apple - whom she had with ex-husband Chris Martin – was clearly embarrassed by her mother’s nudity, simply writing "MOM" in the comments section of The Politician actress' post.

Meanwhile, Gwyneth says has saved all of her iconic red carpet outfits for her look-a-like daughter.

Speaking to People about Apple, she said: "She loves to play in my closet. I have saved everything for her since 15 years before I had her. I save everything. Not everything, but every red carpet look I have saved for her."

The teen fashionista recently helped her movie star mother launch the July Core Collection of Goop's clothing line by stepping in for the models who were staying at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the Iron Man star believes her lookalike daughter is more "glamorous in a way that I'm not."

She added: "She's very, very into makeup, which I'm not. She knows how to do it perfect winged eyeliner. She gave herself acrylic nails. She's a beauty queen."
