Going to Coldplay's Auckland concerts? Here's absolutely everything you need to know
The wait is over… After 11 months of anticipation, legendary band COLDPLAY is finally here in New Zealand, set to perform three unforgettable shows at Eden Park this week!
If you’re one of the lucky Kiwi fans going to Coldplay's Auckland concerts, here’s everything you need to know.
THE COLDPLAY EXPERIENCE
Pixmob LED wristbands
- Each patron will receive a compostable, plant-based plastic LED wristband as part of the Coldplay experience. The wristbands will synchronise with the music during the show. These will be distributed at every gate upon entry and collected at each gate upon exit. All the batteries and any broken wristbands are then recycled.
Moon goggles
- Upon entry, each patron will receive a pair of Moon Goggles (3D glasses) along with their wristbands. The Moon Goggles enhance the immersive experience of the special effects during the show and are yours to keep.
Energy dance floors and bicycles
- For General Admission Standing patrons, there will be energy-generating stationary bikes and kinetic dance floors which harnesses the energy of fans as they dance or cycle to power Coldplay’s batteries which they use on their tour. The energy dance floors and bikes will be located on the General Admission floor.
Mercury bikes
- Electric Tuk Tuks will be on the streets surrounding Eden Park between 4pm & 8pm. The circular route they take is Cricket Ave, Reimers Ave, Sandringham Road and Walters Road helping patrons get to the entry gate on their ticket. While these are open to help everyone, we will be prioritising the elderly and those with mobility challenges. Please note, the Mercury Bikes will be operated by trained drivers and will not be available for the public to operate.
Bike Valet
- Concert oganisers are also providing free Bike Valet each night at Eden Park, so you can rock up on your e-bike and have it safely looked after.
