Disney unveils first look at epic new animated movie 'Raya and the Last Dragon'

Disney has unveiled the first trailer for their latest animated movie and we are pumped for it!

From the same studio who made Moana and Frozen, Raya and the Last Dragon tells the tale of a young girl, Raya, and her hunt to find the last dragon and restore peace to her world.

"Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans, and dragons lived together in harmony," Disney describes the plot of the feature flick. "But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people.

"However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well."

The new movie stars Kelly Marie Tran – who you will recognise from Star Wars: The Last Jedi - as Raya and Awkwafina – of Crazy Rich Asians and Oceans 8 fame - as the last dragon Sisu.

Raya and the Last Dragon is set to hit theatres in March 2021 and we can’t wait!
