Chewbacca Mum Streams Live Facebook Video Singing to Victims of Dallas Shooting

Candace Payne a.k.a. Chewbacca Mum went live on Facebook again over the weekend with a solo rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World.”

The video has already been viewed over 3.6 million times. 

By Monday morning Chewbacca Mom was once again the subject of news stories and trending hashtags, but this time there was a mixture of both good and bad.

Reached by phone at home, Ms. Payne said she did not want to comment on her critics. “I think the video said it all,” she said. “You can either have water in your bucket, or you can have gasoline in your bucket, and I choose to have water.”
