Tracey from MAFS defends her decision to move to Melbourne without her daughter

Once she returned to work after having Grace, Grace's step mother looked after her so that she could spend time with her siblings, rather than go to daycare.

Tracey revealed she and Sean are moving to Melbourne together in June or July, and Grace will have her own bedroom in their apartment. 

'There's no way I'll spend any more than a month without seeing her,' Tracey said, saying she'll fly back to Perth to see her little girl on weekends and Grace will visit in the school holidays. 

Tracey insisted that she is not a 'bad mum,' and said she has a modern co-parenting situation with her ex.

'Just because we don’t have a traditional situation doesn’t mean I’m hurting my daughter,' Tracey said.

She said the move to Melbourne isn't 'set in stone forever,' and that Grace's happiness is what is most important to her.
