The Internet's Reaction to Amanda Seyfried's Engagement Ring Will Make You Sad

Last week the news broke that Amanda Seyfried was engaged to her boyfriend, Thomas Sadoski (congratulations again!).

But instead of being happy for the couple, the internet has decided to criticise the actresses engagement ring.

The actress was spotted out and about with the ring; a simple gold band:

One particular website, Betches, went to town on the ring, saying:

"Thomas must be a struggling actor, because it’s basically just a gold band, and if there’s a diamond it’s too small to tell from the paparazzi pics. We’re all for people making their individual choices and s*** like that, but come on Amanda. YOU’RE RICH.

"That ring might make basic-a** Amanda happy, but we know for a fact that Karen from Mean Girls is currently rolling in her movie grave. Not everyone needs a Mariah Carey-size ring, but no f****** diamond??"

How awful! Amanda found love, and this should in no way be measured in pennies.
