People can be so cruel.

As Sarah Michelle Gellar recently found out the unfortunate way...

The 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star took to Instagram to share what seemed like a cute and harmless photo of her five-year-old son, Rocky, getting a matching manicure on their mother-and-son bonding date.

But trolls were quick to share their opinions, and not many were agreeing with her date idea...

"He needs band-aids on the ends of his fingers, from his Dad teaching him how work on a car, fish, hunt, and farm..." one person commented.

"You're brainwashing this kid with your sick ideologies" another wrote.

"Yeah, another kid twisted by their parent," a third commented.

Another quipped, "Wonder why he's covering his face? Could he be embarrassed?"

"This kind of thing should be outlawed as child abuse! It can cause a child to doubt their true gender," one more chimed in.
