Remember Amy Lee from Evanescence? She's looking and sounding VERY different now!

Can you believe Amy Lee is turning 36 years old today?!

Back in 2003, Amy Lee was known for having one of the most amazing voices in the music industry.

Fronting the rock band Evanescence, Amy Lee's signature look was heavy black eyeliner and gothic clothes.

But now, she’s singing a different tune.

Amy Lee has ditched the black make up and clothes for a more bright and colourful look.

That's because she's now writing and performing children's music.

In September last year, Amy Lee dropped her first children's album, Dream Too Much.

The album was inspired by her son, Jack, and is a gift to her father, who played music to her when she was younger.

She said: ‘Every song on this album has a story, whether it’s an original for our son based on his favourite things or a song my dad used to sing to me when I was a little girl. Seeing it through his [Jack’s] eyes is exactly what inspired the record. So the original songs, they came from him, from his little mind.'

'I'm always looking for ways that I can expand myself creatively and this was a surprise. This kind of came out of a very random place and a very pure place.’
