Rebel Wilson says it "sucks" to have missed out on an Emmy nomination.
The 'Pitch Perfect' star took to Twitter earlier today(14.06.14) to vent her frustration at missing out on a nod at the annual awards after Emmy broadcasters NBC cancelled her new comedy show 'Super Fun Night' after just one season.
Rebel wrote on the social networking site to her 1.83 million followers: "Oh man, I realize my show Super Fun Night was cancelled, but it sucks that they didn't even put me in the race for the Emmys...not that I thought I would have a chance of winning but there wasn't many females heading network comedies and I might've had a slight chance at the 6th nomination slot... Oh well, will have to just try for Oscar or Tony."
She added: "I just feel like I've been banned from buying a raffle ticket for a raffle I had a super fat chance of winning anyways."
The series - which was both created by and starred Rebel, 28 - was pulled from the network following poor ratings and mixed reviews from critics.
However, things are still looking up for the 'Bridesmaids' star after it was announced she will join the cast of the big-budget action-comedy 'Grimsby' which stars Sacha Baron Cohen and is due to hit cinemas in summer next year.
Rebel is also in the process of shooting 'Pitch Perfect 2' - a follow-up to the 2012 blockbuster musical - alongside 'Twilight Saga' star Anna Kendrick and 'The Hunger Games' actress Elizabeth Banks.
This year's Emmy Awards will be held on August 25 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
