Pink reveals she needed 13 STITCHES after slashing Carey Hart's tyres

We've always known Pink is one feisty pop star with a kick-ass attitude.

But now, the 'What About Us' hitmaker has confirmed it with a hilariously dark story about her personal life.

While playing a game of "Burning Questions" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 39-year-old singer was asked to share the dumbest way she's hurt herself.

Without giving it a second thought, she responded: "Slashing tyres."

Pink - who has children Willow, seven, and Jameson, two, with her husband of 13 years - admitted Carey Hart had done something that set her off so she decided to take her anger out on his car.

"It was Thanksgiving. Holidays are stressful," she told the audience.

"I got clean through the first one. He has a raised [Ford] F-250 and those tyres are very thick, thank you very much. And the second one, I lost a little steam and I hit the metal part and my hand just went straight down the knife."

"I got 13 stitches. But here's the thing, I didn't need any anesthesia. I couldn't feel a thing," she continued. 

Later the mum-of-two tweeted: "The story going around about my slashing tyres is from 2003."
