The royals are officially hiring!!

If you've forever dreamed of working with the Queen, Prince William, Kate Middleton AND Prince Harry, then you're in luck.

The royals are on the hunt for a new Demi Chef de Partie (AKA an assistant chef).

That's right.

Buckingham Palace is looking for someone to fill the full-time role, working five days a week between Monday to Sunday.

"This is no ordinary Demi Chef de Partie role," the job description reads.

"In our state-of-the-art kitchens, you'll prepare classical and contemporary menus for a wide range of events, learning essential skills that will provide stepping stones for a great career."

The person is expected to help prepare meals for important receptions and state dinners and will also cook staff lunches for the royal household.

Applicants must be an ambitious and qualified chef.

The applicant must also have "strong communication skills" and "attention to detail is vital".

Of course, the role is based predominately at Buckingham Palace. Although you will have to follow the Queen to her other residences on occasion.

The salary is £21,151.88 a year (NZ$41,104.87), which also includes 15% employer contribution pension scheme, 33 days holiday and training.

PLUS, live-in accommodation with meals. Which means, yes, you will get to live in Buckingham Palace!
