The silver-tongued British singer isn’t afraid to get a little sexy — so long as she keeps her sense of humour intact.

Allen today posted a video of herself backstage in her dressing room. Topless, with one hand covering her breasts, she grinds suggestively to rapper Drake’s hit Started From The Bottom.

The only catch? She’s wearing a giant pair of Spanx, the decidedly unglamorous underwear famous for smoothing out lumps and bumps.

The mother of two young children, Allen captioned the video ‘Cool mum. #drakespanxdance’.

She also posted a video of herself fully dressed in a skin-tight, glammed-up frock, dancing to the same song.

After a few years away from the spotlight, it’s great to have Allen back — as much for her outspoken antics as her music. Earlier this year she hit back at a columnist who labelled her as fat, and last month she topped off a set at London nightclub G.A.Y. by dressing up as Beyonce for a hilarious parody/homage to the R&B diva.

We can’t quite imagine Beyonce posting a video like this on her Instagram.
