Kiwi band Broods crash wedding and surprise newlyweds with performance

Kiwis never turn down an invitation to party – especially when they’re overseas.

Nelson brother-sister act Broods quickly said yes when they were invited to crash a wedding in Ohio.

Broods shared a cute video on Facebook of them rocking up to a wedding in Cincinnati, Ohio and performing a song for a newlywed couple’s first dance.

"This is what it's all about!! Love and music. Music and love!! A wee surprise for a special fan ❤️" they captioned it.

From what we can gather from the clip, the groom orchestrated it all and his new bride looks over the moon.

Georgia and Caleb didn’t turn up empty-handed, bringing the happy couple a beautiful bottle of French champagne to celebrate.

Afterwards, in the car leaving the wedding venue, Georgia says: "Yep, that was an emotional wedding crash. I didn’t cry though, I’m pretty proud of myself."

"Drew did though, our tour manager Drew did ... haha."
