Kate Beckinsale was in proud mummy mode as she shared a cute flashback post to mark her daughter’s 18th birthday yesterday.

The 43-year-old actress took to Instagram with two heartwarming snaps of Lily – her daughter with her ex Michael Sheen – as a toddler, and wrote: “Nothing has been better in my life than being your mama.”

Kate also proudly boasted she has "successfully passed down" her facial expressions to Lily.
