Pamela Anderson made the high cut, red swimsuit iconic on '90s TV show Baywatch, now creators of a new film are looking for an equally memorable leading lady.

The up-coming movie has reportedly shortlisted some possible female leads.

Among the group of hopefuls, according to Deadline.com, are Alexandria Daddario from the Percy Jackon series; X-Men: Apocalypse star Alexandra Shipp and Vampire Diaries' actress Nina Dobrev.

Ashley Benson, Shelley Hennig, Bianca Santos and Denyse Tontz also made the cut.

The Baywatch film, inspired by the 1990s series of the same name, will star Zac Efron and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

It's not known if original stars of the TV show, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, will have roles in the movie, but it would be no surprise if they did make cameo appearances.
