Channing Tatum's new girlfriend has everyone completely surprised

It seems actor Channing Tatum has moved on from his split with ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

But the Magic Mike star’s new flame has surprised everyone – British pop star Jessie J.

According to US Weekly sources have reported that the two are an item and have in fact been dating for a "couple of months".

The relationship is "new, casual and they’re having fun together," a source told the gossip mag after the actor was spotted at Jessie’s Seattle concert on October 6. They have also been seen together playing mini golf and at other places around the city.

Sightings were also been reported around the same time by onlookers on social media, with one person writing: "Channing Tatum and Jessie J are in the same bar as me and I just tried to take a picture and his bodyguard stop me quicker than I could focus my camera."

While the reaction on social media to the pairing has been that of shock, many have pointed out the astounding similarities between Jessie J and Jenna Dewan.

It seems Channing may have a type …

Channing and Jenna announced that they were parting ways just six months ago.

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together," the former couple revealed in a joint statement. 

"Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best friends realising it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.
