Alanis Morissette steps out looking completely unrecognisable!

Alanis Morissette recently attended a performance of Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway, but if it wasn't for her mingling with the cast after the show she would've gone almost completely unnoticed!

Photographed backstage, the 43-year-old looked completely different from her fresh faced 90's music videos.

Best known for her long black hair, the 'Ironic' singer is now rocking an auburn pixie cut with tinted glasses on a golden chain that give us 80's flashbacks.

Fans took to Twitter to comment on Morissette's looks, with one fan tweeting: "It's been a week and I'm still perplexed with Alanis Morissette in 2018".

After a six-year hiatus, Morissette is due to release her ninth studio album some time in 2018.
