Adele celebrates her birthday by teasing possible NEW album

The one and only Adele celebrated her birthday in true style – by teasing a new album.

The now 31-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of black and white photos and reflected on the difficult time she had during her 30s – which saw her split from husband Simon Konecki.

"This is 31 ... thank f******* god,” she wrote. "30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean in to it all.

"No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times. I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay."

She then hinted at what she has in store for her upcoming year, noting that it will be a "big" one – which has led her fans to believe that there could be a new album in store.

"31 is going to be a big ol' year and I’m going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade, I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once," she continued.

"Be kind to yourself people we’re only human, go slow, put your phone down and laugh out loud at every opportunity. Learning to REALLY truly love yourself is it, and I’ve only just realized that that is more than enough. I’ll learn to love you lot eventually."

Most notably in her birthday post, Adele hinted at new music and possibly a title for a new album, writing: “30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you.”

Thus far of the Hello hit maker’s previous records have been given the title correlating to the age in which she created the songs: 19, which was released in 2008, 21, released in 2011 and 2015’s smash album 25 – leading fans to believe that her new album will be called 30.
