Multi-car Crash Brings Auckland Motorway To A Halt

All northbound lanes and one southbound lane on the Southern Motorway have been closed after a crash involving multiple vehicles.

The crash happened just before 11am at Takanini.

The New Zealand Transport Agency reported that emergency services are en route and northbound traffic is advised to exit the motorway at Drury or Papakura to avoid the congestion.

This follows and earlier two-car crash this morning in the same area.

It was not known if there were any injuries.
