We love emojis! They just add so much joy to our text messages …

But sometimes it’s hard to know if we’re using the right emoji for the right circumstance – especially when there is a bit of a debate of over what the image is actually trying to portray.

One popular emoji, in particular, is causing a lot of contention.

While most people believe that this image - known as 'folded hands' according to Emojipedia - shows someone with praying hands … others are sure that is actually a high-five.

Obviously, these two meaning can lead to some awkward situations …
