Sustain is a plant-based recipe book written by two Olympic athletes and an official Olympic dietitian and performance sport nutritionist...and those athletes are both Rotorua based!

Brooke Donoghue is a New Zealand rower who has twice won the world championships in the double scull. An Olympic silver medallist, she placed second in the women's double scull event alongside boatmate Hannah Osborne at the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Luuka Jones is the first female canoe slalom paddler to represent NZ at an Olympic Games. She is a World Championship medalist and 4 x Olympian. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she won a silver medal in the K1 event. She is the current national champion and ranked number one in New Zealand.

Luuka joined Paul Hickey on The Hits Rotorua for a chat about the book and how it all came about.

SUSTAIN: Plant-based foods for active people is available now.
