Dracula's new show 'Sanctuary' is coming to Rotorua in July, and two new shows have been announced for the Sir Howard Morrison Centre.
Paul caught up with female lead Emma Mylott to chat about the show!
Following a near sell-out run of tickets for their 2025 New Zealand tour in Rotorua, Dracula’s will add two additional performances of their new show Sanctuary at the Sir Howard Morrison Theatre in July.
The additional performances are on Saturday 5 July (matinee) and Sunday 6 July and tickets will go on sale this Friday 24 January at draculas.co.nz
After selling out their debut New Zealand tour in 2023, Dracula’s is making a triumphant return to Aotearoa this year with Sanctuary, a brand-new high-energy production delivering the thrills, chills and adults-only outrageous fun that only Dracula’s can.
Coming to Rotorua for the first time ever, local audiences have shown their enthusiasm, with tickets to the previously announced two shows nearing capacity.
Fans are encouraged to secure seats to the newly added shows before they too vanish like a bat into the night.
Dracula’s Sanctuary is a fusion of jaw-dropping acrobatics, powerhouse vocals and unforgettable comedy, all delivered with Dracula’s signature risqué edge. Musical tributes to icons like Guns N’ Roses, Elton John and No Doubt will leave audiences wanting more, with an encore promised for those who cheer the loudest.
Dracula’s steward and Newman Entertainment CEO Luke Newman says they couldn’t be more thrilled with the overwhelming support from New Zealand audiences.
“We are excited to bring Dracula’s to the people of Rotorua for the first time and can see they are excited too. After nearly selling out two performances already for our 2025 visit, we just had to add more opportunities for more fans to experience Sanctuary,” he says.
