Ash, our fab afternoon newsreader, and I are joining forces to trial all the fun, weird, random life hacks we scroll across.

I've many times been a reader of a suggested life hack, a possible doubter of it being a thing, but never actually tried it for myself to see.

So, changing up the story on that one...Let us begin with the humble toilet roll.

Apparently it can be used as a speaker for your smart phone. Can a toilet roll amplify sound?
