Estelle Clifford and Matt Chisholm grill Survivor NZ star JT on the mystery illness that forced him to leave the game

JT was one of the star players of Survivor NZ.

But a mysterious illness drove him to exit the game early.

"I had to leave to get the treatment I needed. I am a person, not a character or a paid actor, so at the point, I’m not having fun and not able to compete … I’m not staying," he told Estelle and Survivor host Matt Chisholm, touching on his medical issue.

"Are we talking about the big trouser snake here, or not?" Matt probed.

"The King Cobra’s got to keep some secrets," JT joked back.
