Amy Shark is an indie-pop songwriter who grew up on the Gold Coast, Australia. Before the success of Amy’s debut single ‘Adore,’ she had been a video editor for the Gold Coast Titans and a resident of Broadbeach Waters with her husband Shane and was an active musician on YouTube since 2014. ‘Adore’ was released in July 2016 and suddenly everything catapulted for Amy's music career.
Two years on, a whirlwind of touring, writing new songs and Aria award wins, Amy releases her debut album 'Love Monster' on Friday 13th July.
So is she superstitious about such a date? What about the stellar line up of producers on the album and the collab with Mark Hoppus from Blink 182? Then there's the naughty corner moments and the sass we can hear and feel in 'I said Hi'.
Estelle caught up with Amy to chat all things 'Love Monster', listen above and check out the music video for 'I said Hi' below.
