This super simple and delicious Christmas Crack recipe will be your new go-to
I am obsessed with this delicious "Christmas Crack" recipe by the amazing Michelle Morfett.
It's so easy to make and always ends up being a Christmas crowd favourite. You will not regret saving this recipe!
Ingredients:
• Nearly half a packet of Salada crackers (or 110g-ish of plain crackers, any other brand)
• 110g salted butter
• 110g brown sugar
• 60g cashews
• 60g cranberries
• 60g almonds
• 180g milk or dark choc
• Sprinkle of salt
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180degC on fan bake.
2. Line your tray with baking paper and lay down the crackers flat.
3. Melt together the butter and brown sugar. Boil for 1 minute.
4. Pour over crackers and spread over.
5. Bake for 10 minutes until very golden.
6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle over the chocolate.
7. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to melt and then spread it over with a palette knife.
8. Sprinkle your nuts and fruit on top with some lovely salt.
9. Pop in the fridge to set, when firm ... crack!
