Second Arrest After Elderly Man Assaulted

Police have arrested a second young woman in relation to an aggravated robbery on Heretaunga Street East Hastings on Saturday the 25th June.

The 29 year-old was arrested and charged this morning with burglary with a weapon and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She will be appearing in Hastings District Court this afternoon.

17 year-old Chanel Te Ana Allen handed herself in to police on Saturday and has since been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Police are not are not seeking anyone else in connection to the matter.
