Road Closures Friday 10th July

NZTA has advised the following roads are closed due to snow and ice:

SH 5 Napier To Taupo 

Road Is Now Open. Motorists Are Advised To Take Extra Care And To Expect Winter Driving Conditions.

SH 2 Wairoa To Gisborne 

Road Is Now Open To One Lane. Between Morere And Bartletts. Motorists Are Advised To Take Extra Care.

Te Mata Peak Road

Icy conditions have closed Te Mata Peak Road.

Council staff say it will likely be closed until mid-afternoon, when the situation will reassessed.
