Road Closures 24th September

If you were planning to head North today, you might want to think again!  Due to heavy rain causing flooding and slips, the following roads are currently closed:

State Highway 2 Napier to Wairoa

Update expected at 10am

State Highway 5 Napier to Taupo

Closed until further notice

150ml of rain is expected to fall in Hawke's Bay today with surface flooding expected on many roads so please drive safe!

Although rivers are rising they are not expected to cause significant flooding
