Watch Stace, Mike and Anika's heartwarming and special Mother's Day tribute song

We all love our mums. But this Mother’s Day we might not be able to see our mums in person or give them a great big hug due to the Covid-19 lockdown measures.

That’s why Stace, Mike and Anika decided to put together a very special tribute to all the Kiwi mums.

Together they recorded a beautiful song and with the help of Hits listeners created a lovely music video containing real photos of Kiwis and their mothers.

"We put together some of our thoughts and feelings about our Mums, about being a Mum and the Mums who listen to us, and that became the lyrics,” says Stacey Morrison.

"We really wanted our Hits listeners to be able to share images of their Mums and families, so it's a love letter to all Mums and mother figures, and Mums we will be missing this Mother's Day."

"Singing in front of Anika is no easy task but when you see the photos of Hits mums that go with the video you just do it - a great song and some amazing love for mums”, adds Mike Puru.
