Well, Mike Puru has given a weather forecast for the country that would be a dream come true for any foodie!

The food-filled forecast includes "piping hot cheese rolls" needed in Southland and Otago, while Wellington should be "tucking into some steaming hot pork dumplings".

Meanwhile, Auckland is looking forward to an "organic, slow-cooked, free-range, antibiotic-free, chicken with a bit of kale and kimchi".
