Meghan Markle's scathing comments about Princess Kate's wedding resurface

Prince William and Princess Kate recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.

But according to a resurfaced blog post, their in-law Megan Markle wasn’t impressed.

According to the MailOnline, the former Suits actress kept a blog called The Tig - a lifestyle blog she abandoned in 2017 - and on it made derogatory comments about her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton's wedding, referring to it as a "childhood fantasy”.

In a 2014 entry, she expressed her belief that Kate's wedding was far from resembling Cinderella's fairytale, stating that while young girls dream of becoming princesses, she aspired to be a superhero.

Meghan's post reportedly read, "Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power ... the twin sister of He-Man and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength. We're definitely not talking about Cinderella here. Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate."

Discussing the comments on Laura’s Royal Tea podcast, Brad & Laura couldn’t help but point out how strange the comments were, especially considering Megan’s own grand wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
