Anika Moa says she has misophonia which makes annoying noises feel like 'electric shocks'

Anika Moa has an unknown condition called misophonia, which means she finds certain sounds unbearable

Unfortunately, her misophonia gets triggered by the noises her wife's car makes.

"Seriously, [I] nearly hurled myself out of the car," Anika told her Hits Drive co-hosts Stacey Morrison and Mike Puru.

"I can’t stand it!"

After Stace suggested that the sounds were just the car trying to help her out, Anika explained that they’re more like "electric shocks" than gentle reminders to put her seat belt on or turn her lights off.

That does not sound fun!
