Matilda Green set to fill in for PJ Harding when she welcomes baby number 2!

Big news in The Hits family! As you may know, PJ’s about to head off on a pretty exciting adventure—baby number two is on the way!

While we’re absolutely buzzing for her, we’re also stoked to let you in on who’ll be keeping her seat warm while she’s on parental leave. Drumroll, please... it’s Matilda Green!

Yep, that Matilda Green. You probably remember her as the OG winner of The Bachelor NZ back in 2015, but she’s done so much more since then. She’s a published author (two books, might we add), a TV personality, a brand ambassador, and—let’s be real—a social media queen.

Matilda’s Insta is packed with family vibes, fun moments, and all-around good energy, which is exactly why we’re so pumped to have her on board.

She’s no stranger to the mic either! Matilda’s got the gift of the gab, thanks to her hit podcast Untidy. She’s an absolute natural when it comes to storytelling, so we know she’ll fit right in here at The Hits.

Starting in March, she’ll be joining Matty & PJ on the morning show until PJ heads off at the start of April to prep for her new arrival.

And let’s not forget—Matilda’s also got her hands full at home with her husband Art Green and their adorable kiddos, Milo, Autumn, and Penelope. She somehow manages to juggle it all while staying effortlessly cool, so we’re pretty sure she can handle us too!

We’re genuinely so excited to welcome Matilda to the team. She’s funny, relatable, and just such a good human. We know you’re going to love her as much as we do.

And when PJ goes on leave to welcome her little one, we’re going to miss her heaps, but we’ll keep things running smoothly until she's back. Promise.
