The Caker Jordan Rondel gives Jono and Ben baking advice for their Cakeathon

Jono and Ben are putting their aprons where their mouths are and attempting to make all 106 cakes from The Women’s Weekly Children Birthday Cake Book! 

So of course, it only made sense to have a chat with New Zealand's star baker and judge of The Great Kiwi Bake Off, Jordan Rondel of The Caker.

She gave her advice for Jono and Ben's Cakeathon and estimated how many she thinks they could actually get through in two days.

Published in 1980, The Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book has been LOVED for generations. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t have at least one memory of pestering mum to make you one or slaving away in the kitchen to make a train cake for your kids (that ends up looking like a log).
