Believe it or not, it's almost been 20 years since the beloved Princess Diana passed away in that tragic car crash.

Many people like to imagine what the world would be like if Lady Di had not died that night, and now, thanks to the powers of the internet, we have been given an idea of what Diana would look like today.

This is the poignant image of Princess Diana as she may have looked today at 55.

The haunting picture was created by digital designers for Mohamed Al Fayed father of Dianas lover Dodi.

Ex-Harrods store boss Mr Al Fayed, whose 42-year-old son died alongside Diana in Paris in 1997, said Diana's complexion was flawless. If she was alive today she would undoubtedly look much younger than her 55 years.

Mr Al Fayed added: I have incredibly happy memories of Diana and my son Dodi.

They were a wonderful couple, very much in love, and I miss them both dearly.
