The Beast from The Chase speaks out over rumours show is fixed

Our favourite quiz show, The Chase, has always been plagued by accusations the show might be fixed.

But now one of its stars has spoken out.

During an interview with The Express, Mark Labbett AKA The Beast insisted that the programme is 100% real.

"I have never thrown a question, let alone a show and would happily be strapped up to one of Jeremy Kyle’s lie detectors," he said.

"Social media is great for people’s immediate gut reactions but not for a more considered opinion.

"My guess is that people get caught up in the excitement of the final chase and it boils over."
